HCMÂ : Did you always want to attend Montclair State University after High school?Â
CW: No, when I came out of High school, I had aspirations to join the Navy. I was even congressionally nominated, but I didn’t have the grades to go.  After that I went over to Rutgers, majoring in Engineering and soon found out that I was not fit for being an engineer.
HCM:Â Why did you transfer to MSU?Â
CW:Â Â After my parents moved to a small town in Europe, right outside of Amsterdam, they left behind a rental house business that I now run. I also wanted to stay close and manage the business while still being able to go in and out of New York City.Â
HCM:Â What do you plan on doing after college?
CW:Â Joining the Navy as an officer is still the plan.Â
HCM:Â What kind of music do you play?Â
CW:Â I’m a solo artist. I enjoy playing acoustic music and a lot of cover songs. I perform rap covers and John Mayer, a little bit of everything.Â
HCM:Â What is your all time favorite song to play?
CW:Â Juicy by Notorious BIG.Â
HCM:Â Have you ever performed in Europe while visiting your folks?
CW:Â Yeah, I’ve played quite a bit in Europe! I’ve played twice in the UK, I’ve played in France and the Netherlands as well, so a good amount of touring.Â
HCM:Â Do you have a favorite quote and if so, why?
CW:Â “May you make it to heaven forty years before the devil knows you’re dead” I think this quote describes me to a T.Â
