Valentine’s Day is supposed to be the most special day of the year for couples.  A long day full of romance, flowers, chocolates and dates that you spend with your boyfriend, girlfriend, wife or husband. February 14th is approaching and what if you’re in a new relationship or in a relationship where you’ve done it all. How do you decide what to do for Valentine’s Day? Don’t worry, relax, here are 5 date ideas!

1. An Evening at Home: Don’t make him/her do anything, just have him/her relax. Make him/her dinner at home, set the table and clean up after dinner. Give him/her a back massage, rub his/her feet, set up a nice warm romantic bath and watch a movie. This date idea is inexpensive, thoughtful and you don’t even need to travel anywhere.

2. Ice Skating: This is a great outdoor date, where you enjoy each other’s company while holding hands the entire time you are ice-skating. Enjoy coffee or hot chocolate together and bundle up in sweaters. Don’t worry about falling down because your date can pick you up.

3. Cooking Class: Attend a cooking class together and bond over the making of a new dish that you both can share together after the class with a bottle of wine. This idea is fun, creative and romantic.

4. Spa Day: Pamper yourselves with a couples massage day at your local spa. This is a relaxing and sensual experience to do with your loved one.

5. Attend a Restaurant: Book a reservation at your favorite place or at a place you haven’t been to yet in town. This will give you a chance to engage in conversation with your date during a candlelight meal. You can also take a nice stroll to the restaurant or take a horse carriage there for a romantic ride before or after dinner.
