American Crime Story: The People Vs. O.J. Simpson (FX)

Wednesdays @ 10pm

Guilty or not guilty? The People Vs. O.J. Simpson is the first season of the new anthology series, American Crime Story. For those unaware, an anthology series is television series that presents a different story and a different set of characters in each season. American Crime Story was created by Ryan Murphy and I’m sure that name is familiar; he’s created other popular TV shows like Nip Tuck, Glee, Scream Queens, and that other anthology series, American Horror Story. The People Vs. O.J. Simpson tells the story of the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman and the subsequent criminal trial of O.J Simpson based off of Jeffrey Toobin’s hit book, “The Run of His Life: The People v. O. J. Simpson.” The show stars John Travolta, Cuba Gooding Jr., David Schwimmer, Sarah Paulson, Selma Blair, Connie Britton, and Courtney B. Vance. With an all-star cast like this, you won’t want to miss this a minute of it.

You won’t be disappointed.

Fuller House (Netflix)

How rude of you to not know about the Fuller House revival series! After spending the 80’s and majority of the 90’s on TV, DJ Tanner, Stephanie Tanner, and Kimmy are back in the house again with an occasional drop in from Uncle Jesse, Becky, Danny, and Joey. The show circles around DJ Tanner who is now a widow with three kids. After the death of her husband, Stephanie and Kimmy (along with her daughter) decide to all live together and help raise their children. The first season of the series comes out this month and will have 10-12 episodes. I’m sure with all this information, you got it, dude!

Empire (FOX)

Wednesdays @ 9pm

Nothing can get much worst then losing your million-dollar company, right? Empire is back, returning to FOX March 30th with guns still blazing. The mid-season finale in December left us shocked, confused, and excited for the show to return. With the show having so much going on it’s hard to believe it’s only on its second season. But fear not, the show has already been picked up for a third. If you don’t know what Empire is then you need to crawl out from under that rock you’ve been living under! The show is phenomenon. The show revolves around the Lyon Family who has a true love for music. With Lucius starting a rap career in the streets and Cookie coaching and inspiring him, their sons were bound to be performers. Their third son, however, has the knack for the business side of things and would love to take his father’s seat as CEO have the family business. But it is kind of hard to be in charge of a company you no longer own. How are the Lyon’s going to get out of it? You’re going to have to tune in March 30th.

Superstore (NBC)

Mondays @ 8pm

Anyone feel the need to go to the store? Why not try Superstore. The Office producer Justin Spritzer returns with another workplace comedy, but instead of an office we are presented with a store where we can learn the ins and outs of retail life and see work relationships form. The cast includes America Ferrera, Ben Feldman, Mark Mckinney, Nichole Bloom, Colton Dunn, and Nico Santos. This comedy has already been nominated for several awards and looks very promising. You’re not going to want to miss Superstore.

Containment (CW)

TBA – Summer 2016

If you’re sick, be sure to back away…seriously what you have could seriously kill someone. Containment is a new show coming to the CW this summer looking to heat things come. Created by Julie Plec, creater of The Originals and The Vampire Diaries, she has done it again proving third times also the charm. She’s practically made The CW her own (I think she’s getting tips from Shonda Rimes.) Containment follows residents of an apartment block who discover that they are sealed inside their building because of a suspicious sickness that has no cure and is very contagious. They must work together to find out why this has happened before they start to turn on one another. The cast includes, David Gyasi, Christina Moses, Chris Wood, Kristen Gutoskie, Claudia Black, George Young, Hanna Mangan Lawrence, and Trevor St. John.

Get your orange jumpsuits on because it’s time to go back to jail. Orange is the New Black is returning for its fourth season and has recently been given the green light for another three seasons so our yearly dose of OITNB is set till 2019. If you don’t know what Orange is the New Black is, it follows the stories of varies female inmates as they navigate their way through life and the system. It tells the stories of their backgrounds, how they got in jail and how they are dealing with it. The show usually comes back into our lives the second or third week of June and that seems to be the case for this season.

How to Get Away with Murder (ABC)

Thursdays @ 10pm

The return of season two is approaching us fast and we don’t want to miss it. How to Get Away with Murder is one of those shows you can’t miss a single second of, so when it returns you going to want to super glue your butt to your couch (or your bed) because it’s about to get real for season 2B. Annalise Keating is a brilliant and seductive professor of defense law who teaches a class called, you guessed it, How to Get Away with Murder. Annalise is also a criminal defense attorney and selects a group of students — the best and the brightest — to assist her with cases at her firm alongside with two of her co-workers. Mysteries continuously arise that test everyone’s limits. If you like suspense, and a lot of it, tune in!

The Shannara Chronicles (MTV)

Let the adventure begin! Are you ready? Based on the best-selling fantasy book series by Terry Brooks, The Shannara Chronicles follows heroes in the Four Lands as they embark on a quest to stop an evil Demon army from destroying the universe. The show is broadcasted on MTV and has an amazing cast linked to the new series including Austin Butler, Poppy Drayton, Ivana Baquero, Manu Bennett, and Aaron Jakubenko. Be sure to have your popcorn ready when you watch this series because it’s going to get good. If you start now that means you can binge watch, how does 7 episodes sound to you?

The Ranch (Netflix) BINGE

Are you constantly missing That 70’s Show? Praying for a reunion? Those basement scenes were the best right? Well guess what, two of its stars are back together in a new show on Netflix. Ashton Kutcher (Kelso) and Danny Masterson (Hyde), along with Elisha Cuthbert, Debra Winger, and Sam Elliott are set to star in the new series, The Ranch. The Ranch will take place on a Colorado ranch, depicting the life of two brothers trying to run their own business.
