Summer Bucket List

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Montana chapter.

Now that school’s out, it’s time to start thinking about all the awesome stuff to squeeze in this summer before it’s time to start all over again! Here are some ideas, and maybe a few dares, to make this summer one of the best ones yet.

  1. Go hiking.
  2. Read a book for fun.
  3. Go to a place you’ve never been to.
  4. Splurge, but not too much!
  5. Eat a food you’ve never tried before.
  6. Make friends with someone older or younger than you.
  7. Volunteer for an awesome non-profit.
  8. Try a day without doing your normal beauty routine and go au natural.
  9. Save some extra cash.
  10. Go to a farmer’s market or a festival downtown (If you’re in Missoula after this Saturday, May 14this the Garden City Localfest at Caras Park!).
  11. Try a new sport.
  12. Walk barefoot through the grass.
  13. Turn off your cell phone, iPod, computer, and any other electronic device for a full day and enjoy the silence.
  14. Go star gazing.
  15. Ride your bike.
  16. Don’t think or plan for next semester!
  17. Cook something new for your friends or family.
  18. Take a class to learn something, not for the credits.
  19. Go camping.
  20. Eat at a new restaurant.

Happy summer!
