What do you do on campus? “Currently, I am one of the Junior Class Presidents in Molloy Student Government (MSG), the Senior Video Editor for MolloyLife Media, and I am the President of the Moloy College Gaming Club or MCGC for short.”
How easy was it to start your own club at Molloy? “It was really easy surprisingly! I had a lot of support early on to do so. I ended up stressing over all the prep work just to have it accepted with no real issue.”
What do you do in Gaming Club? “Here in MCGC, we meet from 5pm to 6:30pm to socialize with our friends and play our favorite games together. Yet, lately it has been a lot of Super Smash Bros. for the Wii-U! We work hand-in-hand with the Anime Club and we also have gaming tournaments for the Molloy student body to participate in for a chance to win cash! We encourage any and all students who are stressed from class or work to come by and just relax with their favorite game for an hour and a half.”
What is it like to be a video editor? “Normally I would say that it is very stressful. However, looking back at it, it is an amazing expierence. We try our best to make great content for the student body which includes the recaps of previous events and News Now! our own campus new channel. It’s just amazing to see people enjoying the content. Out of the whole expierence, I learned how to be more responsible, time-conscious and better than before.”
What is your favorite game system? “Oh, that’s not even a question. PC is unbeatable.”
Game systems or online gaming? “Hmm, I guess both? PC can handle both surprisingly well.”
What new release game are you most excited for? “I believe it to be severely underrated but, I’m really looking forward to Tom Clancy’s The Division. It’s a tactial shooter that’s heavily based on teamwork and has RPG elements in it as well.”
World of Warcraft or League of Legends? “Oh geez. Considering these are the two games that consume most of my life, I’d say League of Legends.”
