1. What was it like to partake in College Fashion Week?

It was an amazing experience! I am so grateful I got to be a part of it! It was a lot of hard work, we spent almost an entire half day setting up the event, going through with the event, and then putting everything away afterward.

2. Have you interned before?

Yes, over the summer I interned at my cousin’s company Compac Industries as a Business and Marketing Intern.

3. Would you work College Fashion Week again?

Absolutley! It was amazing to be able to connect and network with so many important people from Her Campus. Ashlee and I met two of the co-founders of Her Campus and I still can’t even believe I met them!

4. How did you get the opportunity to intern with them?

About a week before College Fashion Week I recieved an e-mail from Cara Chiaramonte (who we also had the pleasure of meeting!) asking for Campus Correspondents to apply to be an intern for College Fashion Week! So I filled out an online application and sent in my resume, and within a couple days I was told my application was accepted!

5. Are you in any other clubs at Molloy?

Not currently, Her Campus does take up a lot of my time and so does Accounting!

6. What is it like to be a Campus Correspondent?

It’s definitley not easy to be a Campus Correspondent. Especially since in the beginning of the year, a lot of our past members graduated or left, and Ashlee and I basically had to build our Chapter back up from the bottom. So we struggled to meet our weekly requirements in September, but we managed to pull through! It’s also a very rewarding experience and it’s definitley been helping me build on my leadership skills as well as my communication skills.

7. Is it difficult to balance school and Her Campus?

Difficult, yes. Impossible, no. Again, at first it was not easy when we didn’t really have a team! But now that we have a team of dedicated writers I couldn’t be happier!

8. Are you the first male Campus Correspondent for Molloy?

Yes I am! And proud of it!

9. What are you most excited for with Her Campus Molloy this school year?

I just can’t wait for Her Campus Molloy to be more involved this year! I feel like on campus not too many people know about us yet and one of our goals this year is to make Her Campus Molloy known to almost everyone!

10. When and where does Her Campus Molloy meet?

We meet every Tuesday at 3:30 in the Conference Room, which is on the third floor of Public Square!

11. What are some things Her Campus wants to do this school year?

Like I said we definitely want to get more involved and get our chapter more known! Basically we wish to plan more events and be a more involved club on campus! We want to give back to Molloy but also get ourselves more known and interested in our content!
