10 Signs You’re the Mom of the Friend Group

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Molloy chapter.

1) You’re the most cautious driver of the group

And you totally do that “my hand is a seatbelt” thing if you make a short stop.

2) You have the largest purse out of everyone (filled with all the necessities)

You’re like a modern day Mary Poppins!

3) You always have snacks

“What do you mean you didn’t eat today? Here, I have three kinds of Cheerios in my bag!”

4) You won’t let your friends cross the street unless you’ve looked both ways

“Okay, make sure we’re all holding hands now!”

5) You make all of the plans and get mad when friends try to change them

“No, we are not going to stop for ice cream.”

6) You’ll defend your friends against anybody

Woah! Watch out for Momma Bear!

7) But you’ll also scold them if they’ve done wrong

“I’m not mad, I’m just… disappointed.”

8) You give great advice

You’re the all-knowing guru of the friend group.

9) You make all the important phone calls

Okay, I’ll make the call to order pizza again, why are you all so afraid of this?”

10) You give the best hugs

Sometimes your friends want to find an excuse to just hug you!
