Halsey released her second studio album called Hopeless Fountain Kingdom on June 2, 2017. The album consisted of more radio friendly songs in comparison to her previous work which she attributed to her desire to prove she was more than capable of creating that type of music. This album fouses on Halsey’s bisexualty as well as her breakup with one of her many boyfriends. Her third studio album was released in January of 2020 and that was called Manic. Halsey’s music focuses on her personal experiences and telling a story. She writes about relationships with other women in her music as a way of solidifying her bisexuality.
