Summertime is just around the corner, even though here in Minnesota, Mother Nature seems not to want summer to come anytime soon. With only a month left of school, it is time to start thinking about summer, the warmer weather and what fun things there are to do.
Summer: that word brings so many happy memories to everyone. It means that on those hot days, you can hit up the pool or go to the lake/beach. You can soak up the sun while having fun in the water with family and friends. It also means the never-ending nights, driving around with the window down, getting all the fresh air.
Bonfires are the main thing I get excited about during the summer. Nothing is better sitting around the fire roasting marshmallows or cooking hot dogs. It creates an atmosphere that brings family and friends together; laughing, having fun and making all those great memories that will last a lifetime.
The best part about summer is that there are no worries in the world. The time is yours to make the best of. Put all your worries aside and just go out and have fun with friends and make those memories that will stay with you throughout your life.
