There once were over 1 million elephants on earth, but because of massive ivory trading the population has dramatically decreased. Besides poaching, habitat destruction and conflict are still threatening these incredible animals.

There have been bans set up that don’t allow trading of ivory, and this has helped some populations of elephants to recover. However it still continues to happen in areas where the elephants aren’t as protected, or authorities that manage are underfunded.

With the increases in human population around the world, there are less and less large land areas where elephants can happily live. They need such large areas that are extremely hard to find.

Ivory Ella wants to help change some of this. They’ve created shirts that are cute, comfortable and stylish. The best part: they also help save the elephants!

Every purchase helps to donate 10 percent of their net profits to savetheelephants.org. Savetheelephants.org is a foundation that relies on individuals and organizations to fund their work in creating a future for the elephants.

Since starting, Ivory Ella has donated over $165,000 to Savetheelephants.org.
