Minnesota’s Largest Candy Store

The “big yellow barn,” that catches everyone’s eyes while driving through the small town of Belle Plaine. It conveniently sits on Highway 169, allowing anyone to stop by whether they are looking for a nice sugar-filled adventure or in a pressing hurry with an intense sweet tooth. The highway is lined with bright-yellow fences, leading to this large tourist attraction. It’s as if you’re listening to the Munchkins – “follow the yellow-picket fence.” The store is open each year, early June to the end of November. During the months of operation, the hours are 9:00am to 7:00pm Sunday through Saturday. From Butterfingers, Twix, Nerds and Licorice, to the old candies you got from grandma’s house while growing up, you will find everything your mind can think of – take a stroll down memory lane! Get here quick, time is ticking and soon you will have to wait until next June to visit this candy emporium!
