On May 15, 2014, a beloved restaurant of 33 years in Mankato closed its doors. That restaurant was called Mexican Village, and people absolutely loved it and were devastated!
Luckily, over a year after it’s close, it is now being re-opened as “Mexican Villa” and is a spin-off of the former restaurant! Gus Hidalgo, who was a chef when the restaurant was still called Mexican Village, now owns it.
They just opened Nov. 4th 2015. Go check out this new version of the formerly loved restaurant!
