How to Make Your Summer Enjoyable

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at MNSU chapter.

If you’re anything like me, you are probably working at least forty hours during every week of the Summer. Some weeks, I’ll put in over fifty hours of work. Summer is the time to work a ton and receive a lump sum of money for the following semester. I usually work as hard as I can during the Summer so that when Fall rolls around, I have plenty of money for college and I don’t have to worry too much.

There are a ton of ways to make the Summer feel like you actually did something. One idea would be to go to an amusement park with your friends. ValleyFair is the perfect place to let go of stress and just have some fun for a day. They usually have Saturday or Sunday specials, so you can save a little cash instead of spending it all. Another idea would be to go a water park. Water parks are often crazy and full of children. Although, if you and your friends plan it out in advance, you can avoid that problem.

The waterpark and amusement park may not be in your realm based on situations. So, if you can’t go too far away from your house and want some easier ways to have fun, try:

-Going for a bike ride with friends

-Rollerblading around town

-Being crafty

-Watch a baseball or softball game

-Going for a walk

– and many more!
