This summer, I had the amazing opportunity to travel to New York City to attend Her Conference. For me, this was killing two birds with one stone; I was able to travel to New York City, a place I had been dreaming of for years, learn more about Her Campus, and make connections. I was happily able to accomplish all three of those goals, as well as getting to know Hannah and Nikki, (whom I now consider two of my closest friends).
Her Conference has truly taught me that nothing is impossible. With hard work, goals, and dreams, I am able to accomplish whatever I want. I was able to hear from some amazing women such as Samantha Barry (Editor and Chief of Glamour magazine), Dr. Jen Welter (first female NFL coach), and many more inspiring women.
As a result, I’m more excited to enter into this world of working women. I graduate in December, and now I feel more prepared and excited to form my own girl gang of hardworking, dedicated women; I know I was born to succeed! Thank you Her Conference for the amazing adventure.
