Disney World is known to people around the world. People don’t know many of their hidden secrets. Here are some hidden secrets about Walt Disney World that many people don’t know.

At the attraction, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, that once was the location of the beloved Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride. Look for the picture of Toad handing Owl the dead to his house.

In town square, sit down on the bench with Goofy, located in front of city hall, and he may engage you in conversation.

In Liberty Square, there are no restrooms, except for those required inside the full-service restaurants, just as there would have been no indoor toilets during colonial times. But with their strict attention to detail, the park’s designers placed the restrooms on the extreme left side of Columbia Harbour House, as that portion of the restaurant is geographically still in Fantasyland, and therefore in Europe, not in the New World.

Ask a Haunted Mansion cast member to tell you the story of Madame Leota’s ring and you will either get a detailed rendition or stony look and a blunt, “There is no such ring.”

As you exit Buzz Lightyear’s space ranger spin take a look at the mural to your right, just across from the ride photo area, where you’ll see Stitch in the lower left-hand corner, zooming around in this spaceship.

The Tomorrowland transit authority formerly called the WEDway peoplemover is all driven by magnets.

When you exit the Tower of Terror, there is a library, notice the fuse boxes on the left-hand wall. Take a moment to give the handle a pull. You may get a rather shocking surprise.

Cast members use secret tunnels beneath the parks in Magic Kingdom and Epcot.

There’s a barber shop in Magic Kingdom.

Disney World employees are not allowed to point with one finger or tell guests “I don’t know”.

You are never more than 30 steps from a trash can in Disney World.
