21 Things You Need to Know on Your 21st Birthday

You have lived about 7,665 days. These days have been leading up to your 21st birthday. Whether you are excited to be 21 and/or excited for the day, being 21 is going to be a new experience. If you are one to party up with the girls downtown or if you are ready to finally go buy a bottle of wine to enjoy in the tub, here are 21 things to know for your 21st birthday.

  1. Today should be all about you – my goodness, it’s your birthday, its okay to take all the attention!

  2. Surround yourself today and this year with the people you love the bring you the most joy.

  3. 21 is a milestone, so take time to enjoy your special day.

  4. The night of your birthday, you should go out with your group – don’t expect to buy a single drink, they got you if they really love you.

  1. Never start a bar tab.

  2. You aren’t expected to know everything just yet.

  3. Have one friend take pictures on their phone all night so you can relive it in the morning.

  4. Call your mom when you need help.

  5. Don’t get so drunk that you can’t remember.

  6. Pacing is key.

  7. Birthday sash is a must – pink, glitter, and sparkles, darling!
