New York Fashion week ran from September 10th through September 17th and featured Spring and Summer 2016 collections from everyones fave designers.
What we learned: this season is all about bright colors. According to the fashion profesh, the top colors that ruled the runway and are to be next spring’s top colors were tangerine, citrine and melon. Designers that showcased the most colorful collections were Diane Von Furstenberg, Alexander Wang, Monique Lhuillier and Prabal Gurun. Diane Von Furstenberg had well-known supermodels, and personal faves, including Karlie Kloss, Gigi and Bella Hadid, and Kendall Jenner.
Donna Karan New York was all about sweater dresses, styled coats, silk maxi dresses and pants with a mature punk look. Mara Hoffman featured a lot of pastels in her show and Givenchy featured their signature style of class and elegance. Lauren Conrad also debuted her first LC by Lauren Conrad collection, which is sold through Kohls stores.
