The iHeartRadio Music Awards took place Sunday night (April 3) and honoring the accomplishments of artists in the music industry and on the radio. Since iHeartRadio is known for being a platform that connects fans to their favorite artists, it was the fans themselves who voted in categories such as Best Fan Army, Best Lyrics, Best Collaboration, Best Cover Song, Best Song From A Movie, and Meme-able Moments.

Adele took home Song of the Year for her smash hit “Hello” while Country Song of the Year went to Chris Janson for ‘Buy Me A Boat.’ Maroon 5 won Best Duo & Group of the Year while legends U2 won the Innovator Award. Justin Bieber and Jack U unsurprisingly won EDM Song of the Year with their addictive track “Where Are U Now”. Bieber won Male Artist of the Year and his beliebers won the Best Fan Army award.

Superstar Taylor Swift had eight nominations and took home Female Artist, Best Tour, Album of the Year for ‘1989’ and ‘Most Meme-able Moment’ for her music video ‘Blank Space’ (Remember her crazy girl look with mascara running all over face? LOL.) Her boyfriend, DJ and producer Calvin Harris, took home Dance Artist of the Year. Chris Brown won R&B Artist, The Weekend took home R&B Song for the hit “Can’t Feel My Face” AND R&B Song of the Year for “Earned It.” Spanish heartthrob Enrique Iglesias won Latin Song of the Year and Pitbull won Latin Arist of the Year. Everybody’s favorite rapper, Drake, won Hip Hop Artist AND Hip Hop Song for ‘Hotline Bling’ which reached records on the charts. He went from runnin’ through the 6 with his woes to ruling the music charts and taking home awards!

Songstress Rachel Platten won Best Lyrics for “Fight Song” and Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson won Best Collaboration for the oh-so-catchy jam “Uptown Funk.” Fifth Harmony took home Best Cover Song for “Uptown Funk.” Country hottie Luke Bryan took home Country Artist of the Year and country group Zac Brown Band won Rock Song of the Year. The Foo Fighters won the title of Rock Artist of the Year. Twenty One Pilots took home Rock Artist of the Year and Rock Song of the Year for ‘Stressed Out.’ Zayn killed his performance on stage and his supermodel girlfriend, model Gigi Hadid, even put it on her Snapchat story. Adorable! We all can’t get enough of his hit ‘Pillow Talk’ that is all over the air waves right now. Fetty Wap won Best New Artist since he’s been putting out tons of catchy songs. In addition Selena Gomez slayed! That’s right, she won Triple Threat for being a Singer/Actor/Dancer. Get it girl!

Since you can never have too much music in your life, listen to their hits to make the night live on!
