Brava to Bravo’s star Teresa Giudice! On Sunday (Oct. 11) Bravo TV premiered part one of the three part special of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa Checks In”.
This first episode was a glimpse into how life is for Teresa’s family: her husband Joe and their four beautiful daughters, Gia, Gabriella, Milania and Audriana, her parents Giacinto and Antonia Gorga, and Teresa’s brother Joe Gorga and wife Melissa Gorga (who also star on The Real Housewives of New Jersey.) Teresa still runs everything in the household, taking calls and emailing frequently. Joe is allowed to go every other weekend for a visit and the daughters visit every weekend. During part one, we saw how Teresa planned Gia’s 8th grade dance party and her middle school graduation celebration. She hired a makeup artist (Priscilla DiStasio) and a fashion stylist. Teresa had picked out the dress with Gia before she went away. On her big day Teresa had flowers sent to her as a surprise. As Teresa said on the phone to her husband, “I have my ways!” She also planned the food menu for both festivities.
Teresa is doing great according to her family. “She looks so relaxed. She’s so positive. She’s still the same Teresa, she just looks so much better,” Gia stated to the cameras. Everyone is happy to see Teresa’s stress levels down now that court trial is behind them. It was revealed on the show that she has been taking advantage of the yoga and spin classes. In a phone call with her husband she mentioned that she was even able to catch a screening of the film “Magic Mike”. Joe told Andy Cohen on an episode of Watch What Happens Live that she is learning a lot while she is away because she is surrounded “smart people”; politicians and business people.
Fans have something to look forward too, as it has been confirmed that Teresa is keeping a diary and will in fact be writing and publishing a book about this experience when she is released. She will be returning home before the holidays this year.
