Yesterday was the first Monday in May, aka NYC’s shining moment of the Met Gala. The theme this year was “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.” As with every Met Gala, there were people who just flat out ignored the theme or tried but didn’t quite nail it. It has been nearly a decade since her last Met Gala attendance, I expected more.
Kerry Washington
This is a silhouette we’ve never seen on the Scandal star before. It is a beautiful dress but it just didn’t photograph well. Bravo on the hair and make-up, though.
Olivia Munn
Saving the worst for last. All complaints are from the collar up. The lip is too strong, the hair look raggedy, and the veil just doesn’t do it.
