Dylan’s Candy Bar has a new “Mean Girls” collection and it’s “so fetch!”

On September 1st Dylan’s Candy Bar debuted the Mean Girls Collection, paying homage to the box office hit and now classic chick flick. The collection of sweets is themed around popular moments from the film, such as “Kalteen” chocolate bars, “Is butter a carb?” popcorn-flavored jelly beans, “You go, Glen Coco!” hot cocoa, lip lollipops, “Everyone in Africa can read Swedish” Swedish fish candy and burn book cookies. There are also chocolate candy bars that feature each of the main characters – Regina George, Gretchen Wieners, Cady Heron and Karen Smith – on the packaging.

Mean Girls came out in 2004 and starred Rachel McAdams, Lindsay Lohan, Tina Fey, Lacey Chabert, Lizzy Caplan, Daniel Franzese, Jonathan Bennett, Amy Poehler and Amanda Seyfried. The film was directed by Mark Waters and produced by Lorne Michaels. Tina Fey served as the screenwriter and also starred as Ms. Norbury in the movie. The film is partly based on the book ‘Queen Bees and Wannabes’ by Rosalind Wiseman, which focused on high school social cliques and hierarchies. The film grossed $129 million dollars worldwide and was so successful that it now has a cult following.

PS – National Mean Girls Day is October 3rd which means you should totes stock up on these sweets so you can indulge appropriately during your next screening of the movie.
