I stopped shaving my armpits and it’s great.

This past summer, I finally decided to stop shaving my armpits. Between the daily shaving (because hair grows fast), itchy razor bumps, and the constant need to hide my armpits because of stubble, I knew it was time.

It’s now been several months, and I can safely say that it’s worth it. This new hair brings a lot of benefits. Now, I have one less thing to shave which means time saved, less water used in the shower, and so much more. I find that my pits smell less and I feel like a better feminist.

The only thing that was keeping me from this decision was my fear of what others thought of me. But, who cares?

Armpit hair is natural, there’s a reason it grows there. Ask yourself why you shave your armpits and ask if it’s worth it. I say try it. Just go a month without shaving and see what you think. You might love it!
