The online hub for luxury fashion lovers, High Fashion Twitter (also known as “hf Twitter” on the platform) is your go-to source for aesthetically pleasing fashion/lifestyle mood boards, fashion memes and roasts of runway shows. While I myself don’t have a High Fashion Twitter account, I do enjoy keeping up with the industry, specifically runway shows during Fashion Month, through their witty and passionate tweets for fellow fashion lovers. As the autumn months are officially here and the cool weather is upon us, recently I’ve been looking to High Fashion Twitter for style inspiration. Whether it’s from runway shows or Instagram bloggers, these are the items currently on my fall fashion wishlist:
1. A Leather Coat/Trench Coat
This piece is the most popular item being posted on High Fashion Twitter right now, and I’m officially obsessed. It’s one of those pieces I’ve never seen before, but once I saw the outfit possibilities it offered through Instagram bloggers, I was inspired. Whether it’s hip-length or longer like a trench coat, I need one of these jackets in my autumn wardrobe.
2. Black Heeled Boots
While I currently already own one pair, a girl can never have too many black heeled boots – right? I’m currently in the market for a pair of black, pointed toe block heeled boots, and High Fashion Twitter is giving me all the inspo pics.
3. A Quality Overcoat
I’ve been wanting this style coat for a while, but with fall starting High Fashion Twitter is reminding me how much I love it. A structured, yet slightly oversized camel colored coat is at the top of my wishlist currently, but I’d also love one in black as more of an everyday layering piece.
4. Wide Legged Trousers
Another wardrobe staple! Lately I’ve been seeing a lot of wide legged trousers on High Fashion Twitter. To me, these radiate major Victoria Beckham vibes, and I am loving it for fall. Versatile and practical, I’m definitely going to be on the lookout for this modern take on a trouser on my next shopping trip.
5. Oversized Blazers
Despite being a major fashion trend online and in retail stores right now, finding the perfect oversized blazer is proving to be much harder than I thought it would be. Included in endless mood boards about dreams of living the chic life, High Fashion Twitter is giving me plenty of inspiration to take with me when shopping for the perfect everyday blazer.
These are the top five items currently on my fall fashion wishlist. As the Twittersphere for all things fashion and style, I’ll definitely be looking to High Fashion Twitter for inspiration on how to style chic fall outfits once I acquire some of these pieces.
