6 Ways to Celebrate National Cookie Day

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at MMM chapter.

December 4th is a wonderful day, it’s National Cookie Day! We’ve rounded up the six best ways to celebrate…AKA six ways to eat cookies and not feel guilty about because it’s a legit holiday. You’re welcome.

1. Head over to Insomnia Cookies to grab you and your friends a dozen!

FACT: cookie delivery is the best kind of delivery.

2. Eat cookie dough!

While you’re picking up groceries at Trader Joe’s or Duanne Reade, pick up some cookie dough, and don’t even cook it. Just eat it! (I personally suggest the holiday slice and bake sugar cookies.)

3. Actually bake the cookies in your toaster oven!

The smell of sugary goodness will fill your floor and have other residents knocking down your door for a taste!

4. Make a cookie mug cake!

#socollege You can find tons of recipes by searching on Pinterest!

5. Get really fancy and bake cookies from scratch!

Mix up all the ingredients and celebrate old school! Whether it’s chocolate chip, snicker doodle, M&M, or a new creation, enjoy taking the time to make a fresh batch of cookies and relax on a Friday night!

6. Whole Foods!

I know what you all are thinking. That getting cookies at Whole Foods that will cost you $30 a box. WRONG! Starting December 2nd through the 8th, the grocery store will be selling freshly baked chocolate chip cookies for just 25 cents! Unfortunately, you can’t drown yourself in chocolaty goodness, because there is a limit of three cookies per customer. But hey, three cookies are better than none!
