In 2019, Disney will be releasing not one, not two, but THREE Disney Live Action movies. You might be asking, “What will they be like?” Well here are my opinions on that question.
Dumbo – Releasing March 29, 2019
Now from the trailer, this one seems to be taking a bit of a different turn from the original Dumbo. There will be more involvement of human characters in this Live Action production, and there probably won’t be any talking animals. This new twist may end up working out really well, but only time will tell the answer to that question.
Aladdin – Releasing May 24, 2019
This film has the potential to be great. I’m expecting to see an epic scene with a magic carpet during “A Whole New World.” If they can master that scene along with all the magic of the Genie, then I’ll probably be impressed.
The Lion King – Releasing July 19, 2019
This one looks like it’ll be pretty amazing. The story of “The Lion King” is incredible in itself. The challenge here is being able to recreate something that matches the original. But Disney generally tends to surprise rather than disappoint, so I’m not too worried.
