For the past few weeks, Taylor Swift had hinted at new music that would be releasing on Friday, April 26. Finally, the wait is over, and not only did Swift provide a new single, but she also gave fans a music video to go along with it.
The new single, “ME!” has already reached 79 million views on YouTube, and it has been less than two days since its release. Brendon Urie from Panic! At The Disco plays a role in this song as well. The music video has a variety of scenes that make it stand out among the rest. There are bright colors, unicorns, clouds – pretty much everything you would expect to see in some type of dream.
Whether or not you enjoy this new song, the music video speaks for itself and provides its own unique entertainment for audiences. However, the best thing to come out of this music video is Benjamin Button (aka the kitten). He made a quick appearance in the video, and since then Swift has been posting pictures and videos of this little guy on her Instagram. Benjamin is practically a star, and I honestly can’t get enough of him.
Only time will tell if this new single will lead the way for another upcoming album from Swift. Who knows, maybe Benjamin will even tag along in more music videos from Swift in the future.
