After seeing @glamzilla’s stitched TikTok with @rogerwh0 trying the Juno & Co. Clean 10 Cleansing Balm, I knew I needed to try it out.
The video, with over 7.1 million views with 1.4 million likes, shows Stephanie Valentine removing her full face of makeup with ease. Since waterproof mascara is my holy grail makeup product and I often have difficulty taking it off, this video was enough to convince me to buy this product. To avoid shipping fees from the Juno & Co. website, I decided to order the product for $14.95 on Amazon. When my package arrived, I completely disregarded my makeup look for the day because I wanted to see if the viral TikTok that I watched was fact or cap.
In terms of ingredients, the product contains only ten, hence why it is called the “Clean 10 Cleansing Balm.” All of Juno and Co.’s products are cruelty free, vegan and sustainable.
My first impressions of this product were great. The cleansing balm comes in a 3 oz container with a plastic applicator, which I was happy to see because using an applicator is much more sanitary than dipping your fingers directly into the container.
When I put the product into my hands, it warmed up and turned into a liquid almost immediately. I usually struggle with taking off my waterproof makeup but it dissolved very quickly after application. I followed the directions of the video and emulsified the product with water to turn it into a milk. Doing this made my full face of makeup come off easily.
My only complaints are that I had to use a bit more product than I was hoping to and that it made my eyes a bit cloudy due to the oils. It was not shown in the video, but you definitely need to wash your face with soap and water in addition to wiping it off with a cotton pad to prevent your skin from feeling greasy.
Overall, this product is the most versatile makeup remover that I have used because it is safe for the face and the eye area. The price is good, and the product does what it claims to do. Because of these factors, I would say that this TikTok video is 100% FACT.
