We’ve all done it: hit the snooze button as many times as possible to get those last few (and very necessary) minutes of sleep. As we’re running out the door, our instinct is to grab those baggy sweatpants, throw on the first T-shirt we see, and quickly pull our hair back into a ponytail. Her Campus Mizzou is here to let you know that it’s possible to look cute and comfy at the same time.

First, ditch the printed T-shirts from time to time. Check out J.Crew and Belle Boutique for shirts that are 100% cotton and extremely comfy but much more stylish. The cotton used in these shirts is actually a softer and better quality cotton than your generic printed T-shirt. They’re fitted and show off your shape, while accents like ruffles (one of the biggest trends for spring) add style and interest.

If it’s chilly out, try something like this sweater from Belle instead of that baggy sweatshirt. This sweater, $33, is adorable and warm. Trendy and cozy – what more could you ask for?

Now, let’s take care of those sweatpants. Don’t worry – you don’t need to completely forget them; just open your wardrobe to other options. Opt for some comfy pants with style, such as Juicy Couture velour pants or any fitted style pant.

There are also leggings. However, one of the biggest faux paus with leggings is wearing them with a top that doesn’t cover your backside (there are entire websites devoted to this mistake). Please, ladies, follow this rule before putting them on. If you don’t feel like squeezing into skinny jeans, try these “jeggings” (leggings that look like jeans – a budding trend), $33, from Belle. The look of skinny jeans without the pain; who would have thought that was ever possible?

Lastly, quickly top off your ensemble by adding an easy accessory. Take a look at the headbands (called headglams) by the Missouri-based designers of Lady Bird Couture. Wear a headglam to dress up a ponytail, bun or unwashed hair; these beautiful, sparkly accessories definitely give the impression that you tried a lot harder than you actually did. They even make a Tiger and Tiger Paw Headglam, $30 each – a gorgeous way to show some school spirit.

Another great, easy accessory is a scarf. Belle has tons of adorable styles in stock right now (take a look below). You can pair a scarf with basically any outfit for added style or warmth. And no need to throw them in the back of your drawer after spring break; lightweight scarves are still extremely stylish in the spring!

Collegiettes™, go into your classes confident with some style…after reading this, you have no excuse not to!

And if you’re in a morning time crunch, don’t forget these pre-class beauty tips!
