Glossier releases Boy Brow in “Auburn”

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Mizzou chapter.

Fellow redheads, this one’s for you! Glossier just released its newest Boy Brow product in the color “Auburn”.

This color, shown on a few redheaded models, is finally the perfect shade for those with red hair. The new color joins the ranks of the other Boy Brow hues: Black, Brown, Blonde and Clear.

Redheads had previously been forced to choose between other colors of Boy Brow products, even prompting Reddit discussions about which color would be closest to red hair. One user commented, “I’m also a redhead…and the hunt for brow products is a total nightmare.”

Glossier celebrated the launch in multiple Instagram posts, including a video with a caption stating, “Boy Brow in Auburn fluffs, fills and grooms all shades of red- whether your brows are full or sparse, thin or thick (or somewhere in between).”

According to The Zoe Report,  Glossier launched Boy Brow in 2015 and since then, 4 million Boy Brow products have been sold. The product has 3,395 reviews and 4.5 stars on Glossier’s website. It is also a “Top Rated” item.

Boy Brow is made with ingredients like Beeswax, Oleic Acid, Lecithin and Atelocollagen to “condition and moisturize brows”, according to Glossier. It is also cruelty free and both dermatologist and ophthalmologist tested.
