Dance Marathon at MU

Dance Marathon was a huge success and Her Campus Mizzou caputred some of the best moments around campus while students worked hard to raise money for the Mizzou Children’s Hospital. 

Students start a flash-mob in the MU Student Center as a part of Dance Marathon recruitment week on November, 8. Dance Marathon is a student-led event at the University of Missouri that works with the Children’s Miracle Network to raise money for the Mizzou Children’s Hospital.

Participants dance in Plaza 900’s amphitheater as a part of the Rave and Tie-Dye with Miracle Kids event on November, 9. DM’s main event is on March 9, 2013, and requires that dancers remain standing for a full 13.1 hours.

Allison Goldberg is a junior at the University of Missouri double majoring in strategic communication journalism with an emphasis in PR and marketing and psychology. In Columbia, she is a member of Zeta Tau Alpha women's fraternity executive council and is a Rent the Runway campus rep. During her spare time you can find her shopping, spending time with her friends and family, running outside or reading a fashion magazine. Allison has interned at a social media firm, BCV Evolve in Chicago for the past two summers. She hopes to work for a fashion PR firm in Chicago or New York when she graduates and eventually travel to South America.
