Coachella: My Favorite and Least Favorite Fits

Coachella is much more than just one of the world’s largest music festivals; it is also a hub for celebrities and style icons to show the world a glimpse of their fashion. And as a person who likes to think of themselves as a fashion lover, here are my favorite and least favorite Coachella outfits of 2026.

1. Sophie Silva

Sophie Silva has taken the cake for my favorite 2026 Coachella outfit. This outfit is literally breathtaking. She has harnessed the perfect balance of maximalist energy while also not being overpowering. The longer you look at the image, the more perfect details you find. My favorites have to be the safety pins in her hair, the watch on the necklace and the beaded star on the dress. I mean, her outfit is perfectly trendy and yet somehow also timeless. She also has earned my number one spot because her gold dress is most likely my second favorite outfit of 2026. Overall, Silva has done amazing and unique things with fashion this year at Coachella and because of that, she is my number one choice for Coachella outfits.

2. Ergi Bardhollari

My second favorite Coachella outfit this year is Ergi Bardhollari’s day two outfit. The way she has taken the classic staple Coachella belt and turned it into a tube top had me stunned. The chunky bengals, the shimmery headscarf, the sunglasses, the necklace, the leather mini skirt, every single aspect of this outfit is a 10/10. No notes!

3. Skilah (Second Picture)

In third place, I have Skilah. I mean, wow, day after day, she perfectly embodied an original yet nostalgic feel with her outfits. Skilah really drew inspiration from the 2010s with captions on her Instagram posts, “my bieber fever is now back” and “#2012 Coachella.” Again, like first and second place, every outfit they wore to Coachella was amazing, but this outfit had to be my favorite. I really appreciate the outfit being all black because it brings attention to the pink flower crown and the amazing chunky jewelry she has on. From the waist chains to the hair tinsel, Skilah’s outfit was really something special.

4. Kalita Hon

In fourth place is Kalita Hon, and honestly, it was hard putting her all the way down in fourth. Let’s first acknowledge that this dress is compiled completely of thrifted pieces of jewelry. And do you know who put all those pieces of jewelry together? You guessed it, Hon, herself. As a personal lover of maximalism this dress is everything. Arm cuff, bangles, fan and a dress made entirely of chunky jewelry; Hon is the embodiment of 2026 Coachella fashion.

5. Cheridan Taylor

In fifth place is Cheridan Taylor’s yellow outfit. I really love how this outfit brings together a lot of layering and texture while staying cohesive because it is all one color. I think it’s very easy to fall into the trap of wearing very neutral colors when trying to dress boho for Coachwall, yet Taylor did not fall into this trap. Instead, she is wearing this lovely pastel yellow. And I might be a little biased with this outfit because this is my favorite color, but she deserves it because the outfit is so pretty. I think this dress does an amazing job of matching the Coachella energy while bringing her own personal taste into the outfit.

(Honorable mentions include Haley Baylee day 1, Leah Taylor day 1 and Sombr.)

And now we get to my three least favorite Coachella outfits of 2026.

3. James Charles

Now I know that James Charles’ look here is a reference to his “Weather Forecast” meme that blew up in 2022, but I mostly just find it disturbing how creepily similar his recreation to turned out. Like, honestly, his outfits this year weren’t that bad, but I was just a little disappointed that he used the same outfit twice. Now I know it’s for a joke, but it just feels like an opportunity missed. It was a flop last time, and it was definitely a flop this time. And for that reason, I have him in third place for the three worst Coachella outfits.

2. Hailey Bieber

The second worst Coachella outfit, in my opinion, was Hailey Bieber’s. Now, I am in no way hating on Hailey Bieber or the beauty that was Bieberchella, I am just slightly hating on this outfit. My first and biggest critique is, where are the accessories? I feel like this outfit could have been completely saved if she had just accessorized. Now she did have some cute sunglasses and silver kitten heels, but it’s still not enough. If she had put on some chunky silver bangles, a nice necklace stack and a silver purse to tie in with the shoes, then this outfit could have been completely turned around. And honestly, that’s my only real complaint, the dress might not be anything crazy, but I actually kinda like the colors, and of course, she looks amazing in it. But this is Coachella, and you have to be extravagant, and unfortunately, this is far from it.

3. Charlie D’Amelio

Finally, my least favorite look from Coachella is Charlie D’Amelio’s outfit. The main reason that I had her take the cake for worst Coachella outfits is that every single one of her outfits is insanely boring. I hate to be that aggressive, but go check her Instagram; it’s true. And I understand that her taste is simpler, and that’s ok, but for my ranking, it is unfortunately going to put her at the bottom. This polka dot outfit is especially not my favorite. Now I know that polka dots are trending, and many times I think they look pretty, yet personally, this is not one of those instances. The skirt looks strangely formal for Coachella, and overall, the look does not give the same boho and party energy that I hoped to see. Now I am in no way saying that you have to dress a certain way in order to be fashionable, but I do believe that there is a certain type of fashion you wear at Coachella, and this outfit does not fit anywhere near that standard. And for those reasons, unfortunately, Charlie D’Amelio is my worst ranked outfit at Coachella 2026.

Final Thoughts

Overall Coachella this year was filled with thrilling and unique outfits spanning from 2010s flashbacks to a dress made fully out of jewelry. I hope you enjoyed the crazy ride that is Coachella fashion, and just like that, another 2026 is behind us.
