We all love songs like Jingle Bells, Winter Wonderland and Frosty the Snowman. But sometimes we hear Christmas songs on the radio that have a deeper meaning. They touch our hearts in unexpected ways and give us hope. Here are a few of those songs that often find a special place in our hearts.

1. “Believe” – performed by Josh Groban

This classic song from the Polar Express has all the feels when it comes to Christmas. Believing in something as wonderful as Santa Claus is just magical. Don’t we all miss it?

2. “The Christmas Shoes” – performed by Newsong

When a song tells a story, it definitely brings meaning into our hearts. Especially if the story is a tearjerker like this one. Honestly, this song has the potential to make any grown man cry.

3. “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” – performed by Band Aid

While this song was considered to not be of the best quality, the lyrics are what made it a hit. It brought compassion to people’s hearts as they listened to it. And it presented a truth in our society about how other countries aren’t as fortunate as us when it comes to the Christmas experience.

4. “Grown-Up Christmas List” – performed by Amy Grant

As kids, we all had Christmas lists for Santa asking for toys, games or movies. But when we got older, we realize that there are wishes we all ask for that would be a miracle if they came true. This song encompasses those feelings of hope for a better world.

5. “Where Are You Christmas?” – performed by Faith Hill

It’s hard to grow up and leave behind the innocent world we used to know. Sometimes we just want to go back to our childhood and experience all the joy and laughter that was in our lives. Faith Hill catches this same ideas in her performance of “Where are you Christmas?”
