Check it Out: Glow Run Photoblog!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Mizzou chapter.

Check out these fabulous photos of the Glow Run 5K from the photographers of Her Campus Mizzou!  This has to be one of the most fun ways we’ve seen to get in your exercise for the day.

The Glow Run began at 8 p.m. at the Hearnes Center. A portion of the proceeds from the run benefit The Columbia Track Club, a non-profit organization that supports recreational and competitive athletes.

Runners and walkers took off from the Hearnes Center and followed a route to Flat Branch Park and back. Along the way, there were “glow zones” and volunteers with glow sticks directing the participants. After the race, participants were invited to stay for an after party with glowing lights and DJ.
