Cale Spangler

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Mizzou chapter.

This week’s campus cutie is a senior headed to law school next semester. He’s a sucker for a smart girl and a plate of tacos (let’s be real: who isn’t?!). Read on to find out more!

Name: Cale Spangler (blonde, on the left)

Hometown: Sedalia, Mo.

Year at Mizzou: Senior

Major: Political Science

Campus Involvement: Club baseball and Phi Alpha Delta pre-law fraternity

Relationship Status: Oh man. Let’s just stick to single. I’ll try to be as transparent as possible here.

Favorite Movie: Shawshank Redemption

Favorite Food: Tacos, all day, every day.

Unique Fact: My middle name is Chapman.

Most Embarrassing Moment: I wore a bikini for a school concert in fifth grade.

Turn Ons: Sense of humor, number one. If a girl can’t make me laugh, that’s a problem. Intelligence. I like a girl that can hold a conversation and can be quick about things.

Turn Offs: Someone that is really needy and can’t be independent.

Pet Peeves: Bad spelling. I hate when people use contractions wrong. I’m a grammar nerd.

Celebrity Crush: Jennifer Anniston

Hidden Talent: I can do a really bad front flip off of a diving board. On a good day.

Favorite Mizzou Memory, so far: Rushing the field both times we won the SEC East.

Perfect Day: I’m not going to say Netflix and chill. That’d be inappropriate. Probably dinner and a baseball game.

Something on Your Bucket List: Travel Europe.

Favorite Place in Columbia: Piano. I do love Piano Bar.

If you could trade lives with anyone, who would it be and why? Eric Decker. He’s a great football player. Plus he’s got a smoking hot wife and two adorable kids. He makes me melt.

Favorite pick-up line: You remind me of my pinky toe. Little, cute, and I’ll probably bang you on my coffee table tonight.

Dream job: Attorney.

A writer and creator with a weird sense of humor. A big fan of the golden rule and an even bigger fan of the Blackhawks. Chicago-born, Mizzou-made. HCXO
