Audrianna Higginbotham, Model for MU Tiger Trends

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Mizzou chapter.

The next Miranda Kerr could be walking the streets of Columbia, collegiettes! Audrianna Higginbotham, a business major and TAM minor, acts as a model for Mizzou’s own Tiger Trends, which is an organization that allows students to promote the MU bookstore boutique, Zoutique, by modeling different apparel and accessories (don’t know about Zoutique? Check out our overview of it here!). Her Campus Mizzou talked to Audrianna about her duties as a Tiger Trends model and her future aspirations in the fashion business.

Her Campus Mizzou: What are some of the things you do for Tiger Trends?

Audrianna Higginbotham: My involvement with Tiger Trends includes being a model for the clothing in the bookstore’s boutique as well as promoting the videos on social media sites like Twitter.

HCM: How did you get involved?

AH: I actually got involved with Tiger Trends because its owner, Cyndi Robertson, contacted me and asked me if I wanted to be a part of a new project. Soon after I found out I would be modeling some of the bookstore’s boutique’s clothing.

HCM: What does the modeling process entail?

AH: My modeling for Tiger Trends entails still shots and video recording. However, I have done fashion shows and photo shoots before.

HCM: Do you plan to continue with your interest in fashion in the future?

AH: Yes, I plan on continuing my interest in fashion. I plan on getting more involved with the TAM department at the university and hopefully get an internship with a retail company in the near future. Eventually I would like to be a buyer for a top retail company.

HCM: What is your favorite retailer and why?

AH: My favorite retailer is Macy’s Inc. because of the values and mission of their company. Macy’s believes in diversity, excellent customer service and giving back to the community. They’re all about making the customer happy and that’s very admirable in my opinion!
