25 Reactions You Had While Watching ‘Gone Girl’

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Mizzou chapter.

Gillian Flynn’s best-selling novel, “Gone Girl,” hit theaters this weekend and it was anything but predictable. (Unless you read the book, of course.) The movie was a full-on roller coaster ride that whipped you back and forth faster than Willow Smith whips her hair. Her Campus Mizzou compiled a list of 25 reactions audiences had during “Gone Girl.” Warning: Spoilers ahead!

1. Well, it’s gloomy outside which means something bad is about to happen.

2. Oh, Ben Affleck, you’re so cute.

3. Uh oh, this can’t be good. They ruined a perfectly good coffee table.

4. Who would ever notice that tiny blood spot on the wall?

5. Oh my god, this cop has it out for Ben Affleck.

6. Great, now guys are going to think girls are even crazier.

7. Ben Affleck can’t be a murderer, he just can’t be.

8. OMG it’s Mouth from “One Tree Hill.”

9. I’m never getting married.

10. You can’t trust anyone these days.

11. Who wants to pretend to be pregnant?

12. Would someone just listen to Ben Affleck?

13. Oh, maybe Ben Affleck isn’t a good guy in this movie.

14. Ugh, Ben, I’m sorry I ever doubted you.

15. This chick is insane.

16. This chick is either really smart or really crazy.

17. Please tell me all marriages aren’t like this.

18. This girl looks like Emily from “Revenge.”

19. Run, Ben, run. This chick is SO not worth it.

20. Well, I might be creeped out but that was a well made movie.

21. I read the book and I’m still confused.

22. I feel sorry for people who are seeing this movie on date.

23. That relationship is going nowhere.

24. I need a glass of wine after this.

25. Actually, maybe two.
