2015 was hot. Not only was it the warmest recorded year to date, the top music and movie charts have never looked better.

While 2016 has already started off with a bang, we still have big expectations for the rest of the year- including questions that just have to be answered. Here’s my list of couples that have to get together, couples that have to stay together (#KENGI), things that must come to an end and my overall hopes for 2016.

1. Bieber will just keep lovin’ himself

Or something like that. Justin takes first place with comeback of the decade after releasing “Purpose,” his first studio album since “Believe” in 2012. Not only does Justin look better than ever (especially in Calvin Klein), his new songs have taken over the Billboard Top 100 since being released. All of my middle school feelings were instantly resurrected, and I’m not the least bit “Sorry” about it.

2. #KenGi will continue to dominate the world

#KenGi is the nickname for supermodel best friends Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid, who represent everything you and your BFF want to be. The dynamic duo made headlines last year after both participating for their first times in The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, and for continuing to dominate every runway and magazine cover out there. Currently, Kendall is rumored to be dating Harry Styles, and Gigi to be with Zayn Malik. I’m hoping Harry and Zayn can put the hiatus behind them for many double dates in the future.

3. Grey’s Anatomy will finally *sniffle* come to an end

As much as it pains me to say it, I think it’s time for Meredith Grey to retire. Although Grey’s will always be my favorite show, it pains me too much to watch it without McDreamy. Season 12 seems desperate for an entertaining storyline in feeble attempts to keep the dedicated fans’ attention.

4. The USA will dominate the Olympics

The Summer Olympic Games are set to take place in Rio, Brazil in August. In the London 2012 Games, the United States took first place in the most medals won by country. Why would 2016 be any different?

5. Scott Disick will finally get his act together

Almost every season of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” features Scott Disick checking into rehab at least once, with each trip being less beneficial than the first. With three kids at home, I’m hoping Scott will finally clean up his act in order to reunite with his baby mama, Kourtney Kardashian.

6. Taylor Swift will release yet another chart topper

Each show on the pop icon’s world tour last year featured a legend of music—from a wide variety of genres and walks of life. Her friend group of supermodels and movie stars instantly became the Internet’s #squadgoals, and as well as her relationship to Scottish DJ Calvin Harris. I don’t expect Taylor to take a break anytime soon.

7. Everyone will realize the classics aren’t nearly as good the second time around

The obsession with the 90s is at an all time high after Netflix announced that they’d be reviving “Full House” and “Gilmore Girls” this year. While I’d love to catch up with Danny Tanner and his gang, I doubt “Fuller House” is going to live up to all of the hype. Especially without the Olsens.

8. A sensible president will be elected (PLEASE)

Though this has nothing to do with pop culture, the presidential election definitely makes my list of hopes for 2016. The race is currently up in the air, with no clear front-runner in my opinion. As it’s my first year to vote, I’m hoping a candidate that I firmly believe in makes the ticket.

9. Liam and Miley will tie the knot

Rumors have already surfaced in 2016 of Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus getting back together after the two have been spotted repeatedly hanging out. After Cyrus was caught wearing her engagement ring from when the two were engaged in 2012, rumors surfaced of a re-engagement. It’s about time.

10. Drake will keep on dancing

The Canadian rapper started a movement after releasing his music video for the hit single “Hotline Bling,” that featured him dancing in a series of colored rooms. Though his dancing became the subject of ruthless memes and jokes across the Internet, I’m not expecting him to stop shaking it in the new year.

11. Leo will finally nab that Oscar

Just give it to him.

12. Adele’s tour will wow us all

Adele said “Hello” to the world last year after releasing her latest album, “25.” Not only is her new music somehow even better than the old, after watching her on James Corden’s carpool karaoke, I’m hoping her tour embodies the enthusiastically fun person she is.

13. Kanye will just continue to be Kanye

From ruthless Twitter rants, to announcing he was going to run for president in 2020, to naming his son Saint, Kanye West continually dominated headlines last year. I’m expecting 2016 won’t be any different.

14. One Direction will get back together

Though I’ve never been the biggest 1D fan, after tearing up at the “History” music video I knew I had to add them to the list. After Zayn announced that he’d be leaving the group, and the rest of the boys decided to take a hiatus that turned permanent, it’s doubtful they’ll ever make another song together again. I’m staying positive.

15. Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer will make what will probably be my new favorite movie

After a hilarious stint together at the 73rd Annual Golden Globes, the celebrity besties showed the world why everyone should be jealous of their friendship. Both women are two of the ‘realer’ ones in Hollywood, and if the rumors they’re making a movie together are true, you better believe that I’ll be first in line for tickets.

16. I’ll get a boyfriend.

Just putting this on the list so my mom stops asking if I’m going to be single forever.
