You’ve managed to find an amazing special someone who you totally click with. The only problem? You haven’t managed to find something other than sitting in your apartment that doesn’t exceed your college budget. Luckily for us, the Twin Cities is filled with a variety of fun things that fit any budget, any day of the week.

Monday:

Bryant Lake Bowl

810 West Lake St. Minneapolis

From 6pm until 12am on Mondays, local favorite Bryant Lake Bowl offers cheap date
night, which includes two entrees, a bottle of wine or a few beers, and one round of
bowling for $28 per couple.

Tuesday:

Acme Comedy Company

708 N. First St. Minneapolis

From Tuesdays through Thursdays as well as Friday’s 10pm show, a college I.D. gets
you a $5 comedy show!

Wednesday:

Riverview Theater

3800 42nd Ave. S. Minneapolis

The blockbusters they show may be a few weeks old, but with the classically old school
interior as well as the most expensive ticket racking in at $3, it’s a perfect spot for a
romantic but inexpensive date. One note: they don’t accept cards so be sure to have
cash on hand!

Thursday:

Science Museum of Minnesota

120 Kellogg Blvd W. St Paul

After 5pm on Thursdays, admission for the science museum is only $6 with a student
I.D. and $12 for the museum plus the omnitheater. Since the usual cost is $13 and $19,

it’s a much cheaper way to witness how a tornado is made!

Friday:

Brave New Workshop

824 Hennepin Ave. Minneapolis

For the 8pm comedy show, Brave New Workshop has a limited number of $12 student
rush tickets. They’re first come, first serve, but afterwards your same-night ticket stub
gets you 25 percent off of your bill at the Uptown Green Mill.

Saturday:

Como Zoo

1225 Estabrook Drive, St Paul

Open from 10am until 4pm and free even through the winter, what better way to bring
out the romantic in your date than by gushing over animals?

Sunday:

The beauty that is the city of Minneapolis

You won’t be thinking about classes the next day while admiring the huge houses
around Lake of the Isles, relaxing in the Peace Garden, or visiting the Stone Arch
Bridge. The best part? They’re all free!

Obviously this is just a snippet of the opportunities we’re lucky enough to have here in
the Twin Cities. Either way, let’s hope that at the end of the night you’ll be kissing your
date goodbye, not your money!

Happy dating! you totally click with. The
