As a soon to be graduate, life can be hectic. I started a list of some goals that I have once I graduate college! I hope I get to do most of these fun and new experiences in the future.

Adopt A Bunny

Bunnies seem like the best of friends, and after college, leaving some friends behind is going to be hard; even if they are a phone call or text away. I think it is a perfect start to the next chapter of my life.

Get My Driver’s License

I am really looking forward to driving lessons, and having the independence of a car. I hope that I can afford an eco-friendly vehicle as well!

Take a Flight Somewhere

I have never been on a plane, I would enjoy getting this experience and leaving the boundaries of Pennsylvania. Leaving the country seems thrilling, educational, and spontaneous. Some places I might go to include Australia, Italy, and Spain.

Write an LGBTQ Plus Romance novel

This would be so fun to open up and recount some of my experiences with dating women, finding myself and heartbreak in an autobiographical way or a fiction young adult novel. Of course, I would keep the characters anonymous either way. I am hoping to send a message that love and relationships are tricky for some of us. We are not all perfect at them and that is okay.

Scuba Dive in Coral Reefs

It has been a life long dream to scuba dive in the Great Barrier Reef. Although it is probably much more polluted than it used to be, I think it would still be amazing to see.

Road Trip Across The US

Traveling is a great experience and I hope that I can get a group of friends together, and live life on the road for a little while. It definitely might get crazy and interesting, but that’s the best part.

Attend Weddings

Weddings are honestly so fun. Whether it be being a bridesmaid or helping friends plan a wedding, attending as a guest, doing a registry, taste testing food, all of it sounds exciting to me.

Learn to Cook Healthy Meals

For the entirety of my college career, I had a meal plan, so I rarely cook food because it is more convenient to swipe my card. After college, I will definitely try cooking at home instead of going out to eat as much. It also will save money in the long run, and I can incorporate healthier foods in my diet.

Watch Baby Sea Turtles Hatch

Sea turtles are my favorite animal and knowing how they have been affected by pollution makes me want to do a lot of work to help the species. It would be such a wonderful experience to watch the baby creatures hatch and swim out to shore; I hope they get a chance to live to their adult life, come back and hatch babies in the same place they were born!

Start My Career

This last one is open ended. I have no idea where exactly I will be, or what I will be doing. But I hope to find myself in a career that I am passionate about. Possibly I’ll work in something in the marine biology field, or something that includes my love for photography, writing, and advocating for people and animals.

With all of this in mind, I have so many adventures ahead of me, and so do you. Keep living your best life.
