Okay everyone, it’s that time of year when the boots, scarves, pumpkins, pecan pie and colorful leaves start coming out. That’s right – it’s FALL!
Fall is my absolute favorite season. It is cool but not too cold, the colors are stunning, and the fall products are the best! Candles are always a fall love of mine; many people gravitate towards scents of pumpkin, but I think that fall is so much more than pumpkins.
So, may I introduce to you the second most famous fall fruit – the apple.
This rich red wax smells like sweet fall apples. It makes me feel like I am in an apple orchard. I think this candle really gives way to a different fruity feeling while still being recognizably fall.

Beetlejuice is a true classic. Produced by the one and only Tim Burton in 1988, Beetlejuice is one of the first movies I ever associated with Halloween. It is a great mix of creepy, funny, heart-warming, and just whacky. For me, it’s old enough to be a true film classic but still relevant to be played literally every year around halloween.

Oh yeah, that’s right, another candle. What is a festive household without autumn scents wafting throughout your home? Yeah, I don’t know, either. Yankee Candle is known for it’s extensive line of scents, and this one is super sweet. Pecan Pie Bites is a great mix of nutty, sweet, and a little bit of holiday spice. When I first smelled this candle on an endcap in CVS it instantly reminded me of my Grandmother’s house around Thanksgiving. No matter what this candle will give you all feelings of love and a pie baking in the oven!

When the air starts to get chilly, my lips do one thing – get chapped. I wanted to feature a lip balm that is good for your lips, good for our enviroment, and has some fun fall themes in them!
Burts Bees has a fall collection that includes Chai Tea, Pumpkin Spice, Vanilla Maple, and Pomegranate lip balms. I felt like these where a great mix of classic fall flavors/scents with something a little extra.
My personal favorite out of the four pack has to be the Chai Tea, it is such a light and a soothing combo.

Bath & Body Works has been my destination of lotions, perfumes, soaps, and hand sanitizers. It is also my first stop when the seasons change. Bath & Body Works is a leader for me in fun yummy smells for any holiday. Sometimes I don’t always want a lotion thought, and that’s when I found this body spray. It is relatively new and smells like heaven. I enjoyed the combo of marshmallow and pumpkin because it is so different and original. A few little sprays of this fun body mist and I am ready to take on the pumpkin patch!

When I was little, every single year around Halloween my face would light up. I would turn on the TV and my little brother and I would watch in awe. That’s right everyone – The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown is playing and all is right in the world.
Now, it has been a long time since then, but during the fall season I still will watch it, if it’s on, for nostalgia. For me, the 1966 Bill Melendez film is timeless and is a must-see classic for everyone. I mean, who doesn’t love Charlie Brown?
If you happen to see it playing, turn the channel on, even just for five minutes, and see how it makes you feel or the memories that might sneak in.

Autumn means it’s time to bring out the fall feel good recipes!
Soup is a food that no matter what time of year it is it’s perfect. My mom likes to make butternut squash soup in the fall, I used to dislike it, but as I get older the rich creamy texture is really comforting. It’s a warm cozy type of soup that can be eaten with a lot of dishes or on its own. Personally I enjoy dipping crusty, buttery bread into it. Butternut squash soup is also super healthy even though it feels like you’re eating something so rich is should be a guilty pleasure.

Essential oils are something I use regularly. Normally I have very calming scents like lavendar, sea breeze, or orange blossom. I stumbled upon this fall themed collection when looking for a gift!
This six pack of essential oils includes the scents of Brown Sugar, Apple, Harvest Spice, Vanilla, Forest Pine, and Snickerdoodle. I love how they combine subtle smells with stronger ones as well.
Diffusers are such a big thing today, as smell is becoming an important influencer in meditation, calming, and soothing mental destressing. I have the perfect spooky season scarf for you guys! Scarves are a highlight of the fall season; this is probably becasue they are stylish, comfortable, warm, and affordable. I found these scarves when I was tight on extra cash. I think a good scarf should be protective, warm, and not itchy. This is a spooky season list everyone so I just had to include a horror movie! Stephen King conjured up the creepy clown Pennywise, and in 1990 Tommy Lee Wallace made that written nightmare an on-screen reality.
I personally hate clowns. But, there is something addicting about watching the original IT around halloween. If you are looking for a creepy classic and a total throwback for this holiday I would 100% recommend this one. Even if you hate clowns I feel like this is a right of passage for everyone.

Lush is one of my all time favorite brands. I love that they are all natural, healthy, and animal crulety free. Lush has been making relaxation products for years and I’m always on the lookout for new bath bombs. When Lush started releasing their halloween line this season I found the Monsters’ Bomb.
This is probably one of the cutest creepy creatures you could throw in your bathtub! It’s pink, blue, and everything you want in a soothing night.

I have probably been wearing Ugg boots for over twelve years. When the Ugg boots come out that is when fall is in full swing. It becomes real. For me, Uggs have always been the most comfortable an stylish shoe to wear when it gets chilly. They can get a little pricy but to me they are a fall must have! Uggs are super comfy and come in so many styles and colors.

I never thought that a homemade sugar scrub could be such an important part of my routine. I’ve bought some in the past but they can have artifical ingredients in them. I found this recipe for a sugar scrub a few months ago and it has done wonders with my skin. This particular sugar scrub is easy to make, natural, and smells delicious. As long as you have some sugar, vanilla, and spices you are good to go!
The only thing left to do is make a batch, resist the urge to eat the whole jar, and watch your skin glow!!

I think that having a holiday cookie recipe is a must have in every home! I love baking with my family and snickerdoodle’s are easy and so good. I feel like the blend of sweet with spices is the baseline for all fall recipes. Snickerdoodle cookies are also a really affordable cookie to make since they require so few ingredients.
Snickerdoodles are also super fun because you make the dough, but then roll them around in a sugar/cinnamon bath. I even have made snickerdoodle cookies into fun shapes.

Even though I already did a fall lip balm this one was just too good not to add. Chapstick makes a line of lip balm that I call their “campfire line” but in reality it’s their s’mores collection. I am a frappuccino girl all the way…but when it gets really cool out this drink is on the top of my list. Starbucks has an ever evolving and delicious menu of festive drinks, both hot and cold. This is the last candle on my list, and this one has nothing to do with food at all. This candle has feeling to it. Yankee Candle has a great way of turning smell into emotions for me, this candle was given to me as a gift and has become a fan favorite. Crisp Fall Night is exactly how it sounds, peaceful and enjoyable. This candle is not too strong which I love becasue when a candle gives you a headache it’s the worst!

One of my favorite things to wear in the fall is a sweater. The problem is they are always so expensive, scratchy, and run so tiny. However, I found this sweater at Target and it is awesome. This sweater comes in a bunch of fun colors and is really affortable, especially if you are a college student! Plus, it comes in a variety of sizes for bodies of actual women…crazy right?!

I saved the best movie for last, The Addams Family is the perfect spooky season movie. Charles Addams created it and in 1991 this crazy family graced our screens. It is funny but also creepy. I have to watch it every year! I mean the characters are so well cast, it is funny, scary, and the perfect freaky family. Both Addams Family movies are halloween must watches!
