Meet the Amazing Alexandra!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Millersville chapter.

I spent some time interviewing one of our new members, Alexandra! She was awesome to get to know a little better!

What year in school are you?

I am a sophomore!

What’s your major and why did you choose it?

I most recently just switched to English with a concentration in Writing Studies and a minor in film studies!

Where are you from?

I am from Hanover, Pennsylvania. It’s near Gettysburg.

Why did you decide to join Her Campus?

I joined HC after first seeing it on Instagram and falling in love with the idea of a group of gals writing about what they love. I thought it would be a great outlet for my writing!

What’s your favorite song and why?

My favorite song is Subside by Eloise. It’s a really chill song that gives me good vibes. The singer’s voice is BEAUTIFUL, I definitely recommend listening to her other songs.

Do you have any skills/talents that most people don’t know about?

I’m obsessed with graphic design and have done some advertising with it. Also, I’m really good at Tetris and Solitaire, LOL.

Do you have any hobbies? If so, what made you get into it?

My hobbies would have to be anything dealing with art of graphic or design, mainly painting and photography. My mom is big on both of those and is definitely an inspiration to me.

What’s one of the most memorable moments in your life?

One of the most memorable moments in my life would honestly be getting into college. I’m a first generation college student, so I was so eager and excited to prove myself and do something big.

Do you have any style icons that you go to for inspiration?

I look at a lot of 70s-80s-90s fashion. I love the grungy clothing style and aesthetic.

Favorite movie and why?

My favorite movie is probably The Wolf of Wall Street. I love it because 1) Leonardo DiCaprio, obviously, and 2) the storyline is so wild and interesting. I’ve seen the movie probably 15 times.

I hope you loved reading about one of our amazing writers, Alexandra, as much as I loved interviewing her!

HCXO,

Brianna
