At this time of the semester we are all busy with exams, presentations and other finals-week assignments. Stress is at an all-time high and it’s hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel sometimes. But today, I sat outside one of my favorite buildings on campus and all of the anxiety and stress vanished for a few moments. For one of the last times ever, I sat on a bench on our beautiful campus and felt thankful for all that I have.
Just remember that even when you feel helpless or want to quit, you have been given the great opportunity of earning an education. Be thankful that you have the life you do, and that you live in a supportive community. Be appreciative of your peers and wise professors who are there to help you through your college career. You live a life that others in the world can only dream of, and that’s something to be thankful for.
Since I tranferred from community college, it’s been an amazing two years at Millersville. Thank you to all who have touched my life and supported me through the years. Thank you to Her Campus for the fun times and allowing me to express myself through editorials.
Goodbye from me and Twix,
xo, Rachael
