I have compiled a list of bucket items for myself to do in 2023. They are presented in no particular order, and I hope I can maybe give others some ideas for fun places to visit this year!

  1. NHL Hockey Game

I have always been a fan of hockey; it is so fast-paced and exciting to watch. I have previously gone to Hershey Bear’s games where the cool air and the liveliness of the game make it honestly so fun. My boyfriend and I will be in Pittsburgh soon and it works perfectly that his favorite team, the Philadelphia Flyers, is playing that weekend. I bought the tickets as a surprise and I am so excited to go and see them!

  1. Pittsburgh Spring Break Trip

Our Pittsburgh trip is planned for Spring Break. I love Pittsburgh, and have loved visiting for annual volleyball tournaments, but I am excited to finally have a chance to totally explore what this city has to offer! Charlie, my boyfriend, has never been there, so I get to give him the whole tour!

  1. Joe Gatto Comedy Show

Huge fan of Impractical Jokers here. I think Joe Gatto is hilarious. My boyfriend and I purchased tickets to go see his Night of Comedy Show when it comes to Hershey. I have heard great things about it and can’t wait to see him make live jokes.

  1. WWE Friday Night Smackdown

Growing up, my brother and I watched WWE with my dad and had quite a ball rooting and cheering on the dramatic matches. I was thrilled to see that there is one coming up that we are close enough to travel to and watch. I hope it is just as exciting in person. My dad used to go to the live events and his excitement for me to go is making me that much more hyped up. I hope we see some WWE Stars!

  1. Beach trips to OCMD

This is nothing new to us as we frequently travel to Ocean City Maryland in the summer on our family trips but it is still something I look forward to greatly. These trips involve a multitude of fun things like pontoon boating, walks on the boardwalk, tours of cool places and etc.

  1. Renting a Polaris Slingshot

This has been on my boyfriend’s and I bucket lists for a few years now. You may have seen these 3-wheel cars coasting past you when visiting the beach. They seem so cool but you usually have to be 21 to drive and ride, which we finally met this year. We are totally going to be looking into renting one of these bad boys in the summer.

  1. Color Factory in NYC/NYC Day Trip

This place is my literal dream. Sooooo many fun exhibits to look at and interact with for cute pictures and memory-making. I want to travel and see NYC SO BAD and this color factory would just make my whole year, too. Other things I want to see in NYC include the Statue of Liberty and the American Girl Doll store.

  1. Inner Harbor

We live pretty local to the Maryland line, yet we have never traveled together to Maryland to visit cool places like Inner Harbor. The area is packed with cool stuff and gorgeous views of the water. The aquarium and yummy restaurants, and cool shops make it a must-visit for us this year.

  1. King of Prussia Mall and Valley Forge Park

One of the families I nanny for traveled here a few weeks ago and it got me thinking about it again. I visited the King of Prussia Mall for a quick visit after a volleyball tournament and didn’t get the time to actually explore and enjoy the gigantic mall. They had great food though at Shake Shack and I am dying to buy some new clothes there!

  1. Hike to White Cliffs of Conoy

Last fall, I actually drove over to the White Cliffs of Conoy. However, I realized quickly that we were not prepared for the long walk it takes to reach the cliffs. We decided not to trek with the hot weather, lack of snacks, and inappropriate attire for hiking, ha! I hope to prepare better and actually get to the cliffs this year!

There are other fun things I am sure I will add to my agenda in 2023 but these are (hopefully) my MUST-DO events that I can reflect on at the end of the year! Hopefully, this gives you some ideas for yourself!

Madi
