5 Fall Activities To Do in Lancaster

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Millersville chapter.

With the temperatures changing so rapidly in Lancaster these past few days, its hard not to start to dream of all the possible fall activities that you could embark on! Fall is most definitely my favorite season, and hopefully it is yours too! Below are five different activities that Lancaster has to offer this fall!

1. Corn Mazes

This is probably one of my favorite fal activities to do! Grab a group of gal pals, or your SO and head to your local corn maze. Its really fun if you go during the day, but try a flashlight corn maze for an extra challenge!

2. Apple Orchard

This is one fall activity that I have never done, but I really want to check it off my bucket list this year! Going to pick your own fruit is so rewarding, and then you can use that fruit to make your own apple pie or another fall apple recipe!

3. Go to an Alpaca Farm

Alpacas are such cute animals and with a few different alpaca farms located in Lancaster County, you can make sure to stop at an alpaca farm! Take some time to appreciate these beautiful animals and see what their farms have to offer.

4. PA Renaissance Faire

Take some time to step back in time and see what life was like during the Renaissance Period! Enjoy period costumes and shows for people of all ages. Make sure to leave room for the yummy food you will find at the Pennsylvanian Renaissance Faire.

5. Take a Hike

Hiking is so good for the soul and fall is a great time to take the time to be outside. Soon the weather will be too cold for you to enjoy being outside, so soak it in while you still have a few nice weeks left! Lancaster has an abundance of nice places to hike!

Hope these ideas help you with planning your next fall outing!!
