It’s finally fall- arguably the best time of the year! It’s also the perfect time to go on super fun dates with your boyfriend. So if you’re struggling with some date ideas, I’ve got you covered! Whether you live in Miami where there really isn’t fall weather, or in the Northeast, you can still go on fun fall-themed dates.

Date 1

The first idea (and the cheapest) is carving and decorating pumpkins. In the Northeast, most farms have pumpkin picking, but you can always find pumpkins at your local grocery store. I suggest you and your boyfriend pick out some pumpkins together! Maybe get two small ones so you can decorate and paint them, and then a bigger pumpkin for you to carve out. This is a super cute and simple idea that definitely gets you in the fall (and Halloween) spirit!

Date 2

After you carve some pumpkins, to continue the Halloween spirit, watch a scary movie! Scary movies will always put you in the mood for Halloween. I suggest you watch one of the following: “Ma”, “Carrie”, “Get Out” “The Addams Family”, or “The Conjuring.” After your movie, you may be a little scared, but that’s okay! Making cookies is a great way to continue the fall mood. My favorite kind of cookie to make during fall is snickerdoodle; it’s the perfect amount of fall in a cookie! Try it- you won’t be disappointed!

Date 3

So, it’s officially apple picking season. Apple picking is a very cute date idea! Find your nearest apple orchard, and I promise it will be worth it. It’s something different and you can take so many cute pictures together, too. You can even try to make apple pie with the apples you pick!

Date 4

You are not celebrating Halloween the right way unless you go to a haunted house. Sometimes, you need to scare yourself a little. Haunted houses can be frightening, but it’s a good experience to go through them with your boyfriend next to you. My personal favorites are the haunted houses you walk through because they’re scary, yet super fun. Towns normally have tons of haunted houses set up so just one simple search can lead you to a super fun night!

Date 5

Aside from apple picking, another outside activity you can do is go to a winery! Wineries are super cute. They have lots of photo options and are a great way to get outside. Despite where you live, wineries are pretty common, so be sure to look up the nearest one and I definitely recommend going.

I know date ideas are hard, but fall dates are super cute and totally worth it! Don’t overthink it; sometimes the best dates are the simple ones!
