Hey all!!! I am an RA in Ogden Hall, a member of Women of Worship ministries. I just decided to become journalism major this year. I choose to get involved in Her Campus because it’s a great organization that caters to the interest of young college women and is a good place to gain some awesome journalism experience.

I just joined Her Campus this fall, and I’m really excited to be on the writing team! I wanted to join the organization because I have always wanted to write for a magazine. I enjoy literature, writing, music, and dance. I also have just started pursuing photography, and I love it!

At Miami, I am the Student Manager of the Campus’ Writing Center. Through helping others in their writing, I realized that I don’t write enough myself. I joined Her Campus Miami (OH) to write more and to provide a male perspective to the female dominated staff behind Her Campus.

Rachel Barga 

Year in School: 1^st Year Graduate Student
Major/Minor: Speech Pathology & Audiology
Hometown: Minster, OH
 
I love Miami (5^th of six years here!) and I love to write, so signing up for HC only made sense.  It’s a way of holding onto my English undergrad degree while I study to be a speech therapist!  I’m a rather simple person: my #1 passions are my Catholic faith and family, and my #1 joys are coffee, wine, and porch-sitting (perhaps all at once) with people I love.  I pretend to have some style sense by wearing loud earrings.  I prefer flip-flops to rain boots when it’s pouring outside.  I believe in a one-day-at-a-time kind of living.

Caroline Adams 

Year in School: Sophomore
Major/Minor: Psychology
Hometown: Spartanburg, SC, but I currently live in Columbus
 
On Campus I am a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority as well as recently joining the Her Campus Miami (OH) team! Her Campus is my first venture into any type of journalism and I really love it. Outside of school I ride horses competitively and at a barn in Oxford. I also keep two horses at home in Columbus.
