The phrase “living your best life” came from someone sipping on a pumpkin spice latte, watching colorful leaves flow with the crisp breeze – whist absorbing the refreshing smell and warmth of a nearby fire. End of story.
1. PRIMARY WEATHER / AESTHETIC
~NO SWEATING!~ That alone is a blessing.
The thought of absorbing enchanting scenery and chilly wind on a cloudy fall day gives me butterflies. Especially at such a gorgeous place like Miami University. Views from the sun dial, seal by Upham Hall, and western campus cannot be beat. Also, when you’re late for class – sprinting in 50-degree weather is definitely more pleasant than an 80-degree sauna.
2. PUMPKIN EVERYTHING
Pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin pie, pumpkin muffins, pumpkin bagels, pumpkin cookies, pumpkin picking, pumpkin decorating, pumpkin candles… Apple cider is pretty solid, too.
3. HALLOWEEN
Costumes and parties galore. What could be better? Nothing.
4. CUTE AF CLOTHES
The season of layers (!!!) Boots! Sweaters! Cardigans! Flannels!! Scarves! Leggings!! The possibilities are endless. (and warm-toned makeup, um YES)
5. FOOTBALL
Yeah, football isn’t hockey… but get over yourself and enjoy it. Cheering on your favorite football team is always an exciting time. Whether that be professional or college level. I won’t discuss the Miami vs. UC game, but the RedHawks were doing really well for a majority of it. We are improving, people!!
