How To Get Ready For Spring Break: The Final Countdown Begins

Spring is almost here, and everyone is counting down the days until spring break. Even if you don’t fly somewhere tropical, you probably will still head to the beach, or at least someplace with a pool. When all of your plans are in order, there is one important thing left that needs to be ready for spring break: your body! Spring break starts in a few weeks, but don’t panic; here are some easy tips how to sharpen your body and improve your appearance within a couple of weeks:
  1. Exercise for about an hour everyday. Don’t start to exercise like you will be running a marathon in a couple weeks. One hour a day at the gym is plenty. Split the time between 30 minutes of cardio and 30 minutes of weight training. Don’t work out excessively, that is just insane and unnecessary. If you start working out one hour a day, you should not only lose some pounds, but also shape your body at the same time within a few weeks.
  1. Start a healthy and simple diet. The key word here is healthy, don’t start dieting excessively because you will be starving after a couple of days and start to eat even more than. However, you could lose a couple pounds by simply not eating fried foods, butter, chips, and candy. Try to not eat any carbs after 5 p.m., but you should eat some for lunch because that’s where our body gets its energy. If you have to eat pasta, rice, or bread for dinner, try the healthy whole-grain alternative. You can taste no difference.
  1. Drink a lot of water. Water is not only healthy and has no calories, but it also will help you lose a couple pounds. Drink a large glass of water before every meal. You will be full faster and just drink water, water, water, and water. That is all I have to say for this.
  1. Buy new clothes. We all know that new clothes make us feel better, so get your girls together and do some serious shopping for spring break. All girls are experts in making excuses for shopping, and there is a better excuse to feel better about yourself. A fresh new look will make you feel better and look amazing.
  1. Purchase sunscreen. No matter if you burn or not, you always must use sunscreen when you are baking in the sun. It is important to protect your skin now to be cancer free later.
  1. Buy the right bathing suit. Nothing is worse than a bathing suit that is either too small or too big. You should spend some quality time on buying the right bathing suit for your body. Your bathing suit from last summer might have looked sexy a year ago, but it might not look the same this year. Invest in a new one if it looks differently than the year before. You should also bring your girls for advice because others are usually more honest with us than we are with ourselve

Be sure to have fun! Even if you’re not completely satisfied with your body have a blast with your friends. After following this list to become spring break ready, you are going to have a great time.
