Brianna Burk formerly known as Briyonce, grew up in Peabody and is Junior here at Merrimack. She is pursuing a major in political science with a minor in Jewish/Christian/Muslim relations. Brianna enjoys being heavily involved at Merrimack as well as spending her time with her friends. Around campus, you can most likely find Brianna in the third floor of the Sak or hanging out in I Tower.

Not only is she an awesome RA in Deegan, but she is also an orientation leader. Brianna states, “ I like the connections I’ve made from orientation and being that one familiar face to the freshman to make them feel at home”.

Brianna participated in Alternative Spring Break last year where she volunteered on trip to Philadelphia. A big part of Brianna’s experience here at Merrimack is being a part of the M.O.R.E. community. She is very passionate about M.O.R.E. and believes it has a huge impact on her college experience and has helped her step of out comfort zone. Brianna claims, “Without M.O.R.E. I don’t think I would have gotten so involved on campus and I highly recommend everyone to go on the retreat”.

Brianna is also the class secretary and is an avid supporter and past team member of Relay for Life. This past spring she participated in the Pellegrinaggio trip where she traveled with Merrimack students to Italy following the footsteps of St. Augustine. From that trip, Brianna fell more in love with Italy and will be returning to study abroad this spring semester.

If you haven’t had the pleasure of meeting Brianna, make sure you spot her on campus and become Snapchat friends (her Snapchats are legendary).
