Boston Strong: How to Help Boston Marathon Victims Without Leaving Campus

What: A two hour Dance-a-thon with four of Merrimack’s fitness instructors to raise money for the victims of the events that took place at the Boston Marathon- $5 Donation to participate

When: Monday, April 29th, 4-6 PM

Where: Fitness Studio, Second floor of Sakowich Center

Who: Merrimack fitness instructors Laura Stevens, Tayla Fernandez, Lisa Vassallo, and Kathryne Beagan with the help of Her Campus Merrimack and Zeta Tau Alpha, as well as the Merrimack College Fitness Center Staff

How: Donations will be accepted by Mack Card or with Cash. All proceeds will be donated to The One Fund (more information on this charity available at www.onefundboston.org) Donations are welcome even if you cannot participate in the event. Donations of any size are greatly appreciated

How to Help Off Campus

Give Blood: Luckily before these events transpired the blood banks in Boston had more than enough. However, they have used much of it over the course of the week and the supply needs to be replenished.
